This past year, Roy G. Eversole underwent a massive renovation to the exterior and interior of our building. It improved the beauty and functionality of the facility, as well as, created a safer and more parent friendly environment. The front of the building received a facelift with a new wall and entryway and new sidewalks and landscaping. Chair lifts were put in so that individuals with wheelchairs would be able to move between the different floors with ease. Our office was completely enclosed by glass with a buzzing system for the security of our students and to permit individuals in, as needed. In addition to our 17 classroom teachers, our staff consists of: a principal, speech pathologist, reading recovery specialist, technology resource teacher, guidance counselor with an individual intellectual assessment endorsement, gifted/talented teacher, half day librarian, arts and humanities coach, practical living/career studies coach, registered nurse, homeless liaison/coordinator, family resource coordinator, eight full time assistants and two special education teachers. Two of our teachers are National Board Certified Teachers and 12 have Rank I degrees.
